How many episodes of chobits are there ?

i could of sworn there wre 27 but on this new website teres only 26

There are definitely only 26 episodes of the television series, but there are a couple OVA's (direct to DVD stories).

I belive there is only 26, 1 (the last) being a flash back of all the others
