Which animes would you suggest I watch? Chobits?

I just finished Death Note and I quite enjoyed Hellsing. I'm not big on comedies though. I do like a bit of violence but I enjoyed the psycological aspects of death note, any sugestions? I like lighter animes like fruits basket as well and since I just saw death note, i feel like maybe I should watch something a little less... depressing. After hearing a bit about Chobits, I thought I could watch that next, but would you say that its good?

I'm not that into Chobits tbh it was okay.. I still watched the whole series, and wasn't turned into a Chobits fangirl (but then again I like very dramatic psychological drama types and Chobits is dramatic in parts, but not in the same way)

If you like pyschological violency type anime then you'll probably enjoy Elfen Lied or Ergo Proxy

Death Note is amazing and I enjoyed the psychological aspects of it too and the complex plot twists

I think if your looking for a more lighter fluffier shoujo anime then maybe you'll like Tokimeki Memorial or Lamune

If you fancy combining the shoujo with the psychological you could always watch Key Animations (Air TV or Kanon) or H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~

Chobits is an excellent series- most CLAMP ones are. Anything by them might suit your interest. I would like to put up a warning/reminder that some if not most CLAMP series have hints or undertones of homosexuality (both male and female), so if that bothers you, research the series or ask.

You want less depressing, but not comedy? A lot of action series use comedy to lighten the mood. Inuyasha has romance and action, Bleach has action, Samurai Champloo is really good, Cowboy Bebop- well, that can be depressing. Paranoia Agent is pretty psychological. Trigun is a mix of comedy (especially the first 4 episodes) and action.

Try these and whatever else people suggest. There's a ton of anime to choose from!

one piece, death note, kyou kara maou, karin, DN Angel, etc

one piece- one piece is about people who become pirates and try to become masters, the captain wants to be the pirate king.

i reccomend it so much! it rules. it is filled with comedy, action, adventure, some INTENSE moments...etc. it RULES!!!!!

kyou kara maou- like i said about one piece-IT RULES!! its about this boy who lives in japan and he gets flushed down the toilet into another world where he is a demon king

this is filled with adventure, magic, action,comedy, boy/boy luv etc.

karin has to do with vampires {it doesnt really have a plot}

etc

Chobits, I feel personally, was made for guys' enjoyment...it's a bit on the ecchi side imo...not at all serious or dramatic as Death Note. But I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy D. Gray Man for sure...probably Claymore, and possibly Evangelion. They're action packed, and has a lot of drama and deep message. They're all on a lil of violent side but very popular...you can watch all of them for FREE on stream at TailedFox :) Check it out!! Hope this helps~

I love Bleach(which is kinda violent but is awesomely cool)- action/drama/funny- its a very good show!!!!!! or there Naruto(about ninjas)- action/funny/some drama!!!or maybe you'd like Tokyo mew mew(about girl that turn half animals)-funny/action !!!!!!!!!! or maybe you'd like Ouran High School Host Club(about a girl who people thinks a boy)-funny/romance!!!!!!!!!!! or Karin (a girl vampire: haven't watched it much but the ones I've seen are hilarious)

well considering what u've been watching, chobits is gonna sound a little boring and waaaay less intense, and u might actually fall asleep while watching (happened with me) :p

its basically romance and just talks and all.

ps: if u've decided to go back to intense, u should definitely watch Speed Grapher =)

if you want to watch chobits you should watch also The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya . its comedy but it is a little bit

tough to understand and for some reason you want to keep watching it. at least try it

p.s the episodes are not in order but its better that way

chobits is fabulous!!! there are a few others simerler like girls bravo there is love hina but theres alot of comedy. if you still wanted a action anime this ones fate stay night !! i would say its quite a light one as theres a little romance in there too!!

Chobits is beyond words, but it's more targeted for male audience.
