Can someone tell me the whole story of "Chobits" (the manga)?

I've read up to the 5th one. I can't read all of them though. Or at least the story from book 5 - book 8.

From the start?

There was this couple of hardcore Persocon makers; they were married and the woman was barren. Working with the company the guy made 2 Persocons he named 'Chobits' (Chii + I think her name is Freya) to be daughters for his wife and him; they're so advanced that they're practically human. Freya fell in love with the dad and for some reason (different in anime/manga) caused her system to break down. When she was dying she downloaded all her data into Chii. The parents wanted the remaining Persocon (Chii) to find her own 'one and only', so they blanked her memories and dumped her in a garbage heap; the guy also installed a reset button in her moist hole so nobody could use her for sex (it's hinted that her 'one and only' won't activate it if they do have sex but it isn't said outright).

The main character, Hideki, found her and fell in love with her over time. Chii realizes he is her 'one and only'.

There's also another bit where apparently Chii's ulta-advanced system is linked to ALL persocons, and she has the ability to shut them all down (we see this a couple times when she freaks out). A couple of persocons attempt to destroy her, as per their orders, but the guy doesn't want to for some reason. Freya and Chii communicate and it's decided that Hideki and her shall be together.

I've only seen the anime and it was a while ago so it's probably a bit weird but that's the basic story.
