What anime is similair or in the same genre of chobits and elfen lied?

i really liked these 2 because in both movies they girls had something different about them like they stood out among the others. And it also had love in it too. is there any other anime like these?

Angelic Layer is the prequel to the Chobits anime - Chi's dad is seen in it and so is Minoru's sister, Kaede.

Another anime you may like - but I would recommend watching it in Japanese because English dub sucks for this series - is Rozen Maiden. Chi's and Freya's Japanese voice actress does a voice in this anime, and like Chobits, it deals with the relationship between a non-human human shaped object (in this case, 19th century dolls) and a real person. Like Hideki, the male protagonist struggles with school. It was rated #9 out of 100 on some sort of seinen list, which is the same demographic as Chobits because it is a seinen as well.

DearS is very similar to Chobits.

Tokyo Underground is a more shojo elfin lied.

Cardcaptor Sakura has a magical girl, unique character thing going on.

VampireDoll has a very unique main character

Doll deals with robot human relations like chobits.

As in the whole "take in the amnesiac girl who barely speaks and has people hunting her" thing? I can only think of one other, and it's "DearS":
