Are the chi in tsubasa and the chi in chobits connected in some way?

cuz theres the chi that fai knows and the almost main character chi in chobits. are they connected or the same? they both have cat ears and the same sort of personalitys.

with Chii in future Japan country from AngelicLayer&Chobits

an example for relation of Cardcaptor or Legal drug etc is that the modern Japan country appears in the story Tsubasa

but future Japan country from AngelicLayer&Chobits hasn't appeared

so far there is no way to put the stories together

Both series are done by CLAMP, and CLAMP uses interesting characters in several series. THey're called crossover characters, and Chi in Chobits is the same character as Chi in Tsubasa. You know, like how The two main characters of Tsubasa are also the two main characters of Cardcaptor Sakura?
